Worship

At Clifton we share an act of worship each day.
Monday - Whole School Assembly. We are learning using the story of the Good Samaritan to learn about themes from the book of Psalms to help us learn lessons on how we should live our lives.
Tuesday - Prayer and praise where children learn and sing worship songs together.
Wednesday and Thursday - Class Worship led by a class in school on a theme of Feasts and Festivals taken from all the major World Faiths. This helps us to understand the similarities and differences between different religions and celebrate with members of our school community and the wider world.
Thursday - One class attends St Mary's Church to take part in worship with Rev Pete.
Friday - Congratulations Assembly.
Feasts and Festivals
Throughout the year we celebrate a range of feasts and festivals from both the Christian calendar and those of other World Faiths.
We particularly focus on:
Harvest Festival
Remembrance Day
Diwali
Advent
Christmas Nativity
The Easter Story
Through all of our worship we continue to link our Bible Story – The Good Samaritan - Luke 10 v 30-37. ‘With open minds and loving hearts, we will achieve.’ And ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbour as yourself.’
